Florage Tasmania Weddings & Events

Thank you for choosing Florage Tasmania to be a part of your special day. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you enter into a contractual agreement with Florage Tasmania for the exclusive provision of floral services for your wedding.

Exclusive Floral Services

We commit to providing floral services for your wedding, as requested by you, which may include bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony flowers, and reception arrangements. Our dedication ensures that Florage Tasmania works exclusively on your wedding, without collaboration with other florists.

Consultation

A complimentary 45 minute face-to-face consultation is preferred, allowing us to understand your vision. We encourage you to send to us or bring with you any pictures you may have as inspiration for your florals.  While we will never promise to recreate these, it is useful for us to understand your vision and inspiration.  We remain accessible through email, phone or appointment for further discussions or adjustments to your order.

We believe a personal consultation is the most accurate way to provide a wedding quote. Therefore, we typically do not offer quotes via email or without a consultation.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days, during which time our services are reserved. After this period, we are open to bookings for weddings on the same day from other clients.

Booking Fee & Payments

Invoices for goods and services, including the booking fee, will be provided.

A non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the total quoted price, is required. This fee reserves your wedding date and compensates for planning, styling, and flower allocations. 

This deposit will be credited toward the balance of your wedding flowers. The remaining balance is due in full 30 days prior to your wedding date. Delayed final payments may lead to a late order, potentially causing you to miss out on your desired flower varieties.

Payment methods include cash, credit card, or direct deposit.

Availability, Variations & Price Changes

Due to the unpredictability of nature, we cannot guarantee exact flower availability, colours, or shades. We reserve the right to substitute flowers if necessary.

Prices for specific flower requests from you may change if our suppliers adjust their prices. Flower prices may be subject to change, especially during peak periods like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day week, and adjustments will be communicated accordingly.

Changes

Major changes must be communicated in writing during the booking process or noted on the quote during post-deposit consultations. Minor changes, such as removing items up to 10% of the total invoice, are permitted 30 days prior to the wedding.

Vases and Returns

Any containers and vases used may change due to supply issues.  We will substitute the selected product with items of equal or greater value that match the overall look and feel of the event. 

Vase returns, when borrowed are crucial, and items must be returned clean by 5 pm on the Monday after your wedding. Failure to do so may incur charges. It sometimes works best to arrange a friend or family member to return the vases, or you can arrange for us to collect and a fee for delivery and/or collection may be added.

Packaging & Flower Delivery

Customer pickups are available, and delivery fees apply as outlined in the quote. Flowers are delicately packaged to prevent damage during transportation.

Flower Longevity

Wedding flowers are carefully selected and arranged, reaching their peak on your special day. Direct sunshine and heat may affect flower longevity, and arrangements may need to be placed just before the event starts.

Upon collection or delivery and placement, you assume all responsibility and care for your flowers and arrangements.

Refunds & Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your booking, you will need to notify us in writing as soon as possible. We are happy to offer to transfer your booking to another date, subject to availability, with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. Cancellations after that time frame i.e.: within 29 days from the date of the wedding, will incur a 30% cancellation fee.

Cancellations within 2 weeks prior to the wedding, no monies paid will be refunded.

Privacy

Your privacy is paramount. Wedding details, contact information, and credit card details will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Photography

We reserve the right to photograph all finished work and use these images in our marketing efforts, including social media, websites, advertising, and other promotional materials. Any photos provided by your photographer will be used solely for promoting our business, with proper credits given upon request. Consent will be sought for showcasing on our website and social media if the happy couple are visible.

We respect your privacy. Your names, wedding date, contact details, order information, and pricing will be kept completely confidential.

Hanging Installations/Large Pieces

Responsibility remains with the bridal couple to seek permission on behalf of Florage Tasmania to complete any hanging, suspended or other uncommon floral installation at any venue. Florage Tasmania will not be held responsible or liable for any instances where work cannot be completed due to lack of permission or lack of safety at the venue.

Responsibility for removing floral pieces from the venue lies with the wedding couple. Additional fees may apply for disposal or retrieval services.

Acceptance of Terms

Payment of your booking fee is your acceptance of these terms and conditions, and you acknowledge and agree to the stipulations outlined in the current invoice. If someone else pays the deposit on your behalf, their acceptance of these terms is implied.
